Among the papers of an old sailor, Jim Hawkins has found a very precious map: it is the key to reaching the remote island where Captain Flint buried his legendary riches. Driven by a thirst for adventure, Jim agrees to board the schooner Hispaniola and set off in search of the treasure. Long John Silver, the fearsome pirate with a wooden leg, has also managed to get himself admitted on board, hiding his shady intentions behind his jovial manners. Jim is only a boy, but it will be he through his loyalty and courage who will determine the fate of the expedition...
